Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced communications specialist to join our Australian Mining & Metals division. This full-time, permanent position will be based at our Perth office, reporting to the global Marketing and Communications Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing communication materials that effectively convey our successful project development and execution in Australia. You will collaborate closely with our Australian leadership team to strengthen our reputation, enhance our market position, and cultivate a knowledgeable, skilled, and empowered team capable of successfully achieving our annual business objectives. This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. Major Responsibilities: Internal communications Create clear communications that foster an inclusive and engaged team. Identify and support engagement opportunities that enhance our culture of belonging and sense of pride. Communicate project milestones to celebrate our successes. External Communications Create compelling marketing materials that help our colleagues tell our story. Deliver targeted marketing campaigns that enhance brand recognition. Coordinate leadership participation and presence at external events. Education and Experience Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the engineering and construction industry. Tertiary qualified in communications, writing, English major or similar discipline. Required Knowledge and Skills: Strong technical knowledge and critical analytical skills including problem solving, decision making and interpretation skills. Excellent written, literacy and verbal communication skills, the ability to extract and rephrase information to produce accurate, complete, and concise report documentation. Demonstrated willingness to embrace new products, technologies, methods and systems. Good interpersonal skills within a close team environment and an ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
