IP Australia promotes its activities via multiple communication channels. To support this work, IP Australia is seeking an experienced and professional Communications Officer to join the Internal Communications function, working closely with the team and subject matter experts to assist with a range of communication activities and projects. The Communications Officer is responsible for delivering quality and timely communication advice and support. This includes working collaboratively across the organisation to plan, implement and evaluate effective communication solutions to achieve business objectives. As part of a small team, you may also be asked to assist across the broader Communications section, with an opportunity to create content for our external audiences and provide media, social media, or event management expertise as needed. The role requires a well-organised professional who is capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment. As a Communications Officer you will: Work collaboratively as part of a small dynamic communication team Provide communication advice, support and guidance to business areas to successfully deliver business outcomes Draft, edit and publish written communications content, and assist with communications planning Help manage events and provide advice to internal stakeholders to assist them to manage their own events Create, maintain and foster connections throughout the agency Respond to enquiries and deadlines with attention to detail and considering priorities Identify opportunities for improvement within the team’s systems For more information about this role, including the type of person we are looking for, please refer to the Candidate Kit available by clicking the 'Apply' button.
