Communications and Engagement Consultant Consultant in our Engagement and Social Impact Team We are on the lookout for talented and values-driven consultants to join our engagement and social impact team based in Sydney. About the Role We are seeking Consultant level applicants (those early in their career with around 2-3 years’ experience) to support us in delivering a range of interesting and challenging projects. If you are successful, you will work as part of our engagement and social impact team based in Sydney helping to design, deliver, and report on stakeholder and community engagement programs, with a particular focus on identifying and quantifying social outcomes. You will be advocating for best practices in community engagement and social impact. Writing skills are a key component of the role – you will be able to write succinct and compelling content that explains complex ideas in understandable ways. We would like you to submit an example of your writing as part of your application. You will also work with digital and graphic designers to produce creative and engaging collateral; need to be skilled in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, drawing out insights and preparing high-quality reports; develop strong client and partner relationships and live our values of excellence, relationships, challenge, trust, and care. Our engagement and social impact team works across sectors; our current projects are focused on transport, energy, urban policy, and social infrastructure. We are focused on you and your career, and we will be looking to build your skills technically and support your growth and development as part of your role. We have a flexible working environment, but there will be a need to work from our office as well as some travel for work, for example to attend workshops and community pop-ups/displays. You will have a relevant Bachelor-level university degree or a background in urban planning, public policy, communications, or social sciences. You will have experience or interest in community engagement and a strong understanding of the social, environmental, cultural, and economic issues that face our communities. Ideally, you will have an IAP2 certification or a willingness to work towards it. You must have full Australian working rights. So Who is bd infrastructure?
