ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for candidates who: Are experienced working as an Occupational Therapist in the community space, Are driven by a desire to form genuine connections with patients and provide a holistic and personalised care, Enjoy an exciting variety of work. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designing and coordinating capacity building programs in the home and the community. Educating participants, their supporters, and their families on strategies to increase occupational engagement and performance. Modifying the home environment to suit the needs of individuals and to facilitate independence. Prescription and acquisition of assistive technology for home and community access. Advocating to funding bodies to support the needs of clients and their support network. You will be working with a wide range of caseloads such as: NDIS Home Care Packages DVA Private Health Transitional Care Program & CRST (Queensland Health) To be considered, you must hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy and have experience working in community as an Occupational Therapist, a current AHPRA certificate and professional insurance and COVID Vaccinations.
