Community Care Support Worker (Aged Care) About the role This is a part-time Community Care Support Worker (Aged Care) role based in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. You will be providing essential care and support services to aged care clients of Holdsworth, a trusted not-for-profit organisation. This is an important role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. What you'll be doing Providing personal care assistance, such as help with bathing, dressing and grooming Preparing, serving and assisting with meals if required Undertaking light domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry and shopping Providing companionship and support with social and recreational activities Assisting with mobility, including the use of mobility aids Monitoring client well-being and reporting any changes or concerns Maintaining detailed client records and documentation What we're looking for Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or a related field (desirable). Previous experience providing care and support to the aged, either in a home or residential care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients A caring, patient and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in supporting the elderly Competent in using technology, such as client management systems A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance A willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays What we offer At Holdsworth, we are committed to the wellbeing of our employees.
