Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, household tasks, wellness activities, and transportation to appointments. Key Responsibilities: Care Delivery: Provide support tailored to each consumer’s needs, from personal care and respite to housekeeping and companionship. Consumer Monitoring: Observe and report on consumer conditions, ensuring services align with their care plans. Communication & Coordination: Maintain open communication with Sundale team members, health professionals, and external service providers. Record Keeping: Establish and maintain accurate, confidential consumer reporting systems. Requirements: Minimum Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, or Individual Support. Current Assist with Medications certificate. Position 2: Domestic Assistant The Domestic Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment in each consumer’s home, customized to meet individual needs and preferences. This role includes tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and light maintenance to create a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Domestic Assistance: Perform household tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dishwashing, and bed-making. Communication & Coordination: Maintain open communication with team members, health professionals, and external providers. Health & Safety: Apply infection control guidelines, follow WHS standards, and ensure a safe environment for all. Desired Skills and Experience What We’re Looking For: Skills & Experience: Experience in personal care, household duties, and working within aged care services. Knowledge: Understanding of infection control, aged care legislation, dementia care, and Work Health & Safety principles. Attributes: Strong interpersonal communication, both written and verbal, with a positive outlook and the ability to work within a flexible team environment. Competence: Ability to work autonomously, ensuring duties are performed within State and Legislative frameworks, maintaining the dignity and confidentiality of consumers at all times. Current Queensland Driver’s License. A safe and reliable vehicle that is appropriate for transporting Sundale consumers and their associated equipment. Join Us in Making a Difference!
