Our strength lies with our people. About the role The Project Lead role focuses on designing and establishing the Community Data Project (CDP). Key responsibilities include fostering relationships with ACCOs, communities, and government partners, mapping data for Closing the Gap and (PBP) Place-based Partnership initiatives and developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The role also involves creating data-sharing agreements, negotiating project requirements, and developing a website for community access to data. The position will oversee CDP implementation and PBP evaluation if additional funding is secured. About You The role ensures the CDP aligns with National Priority Reform Four and Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the project budget and evaluation framework, engaging with government and community stakeholders, mapping data needs and barriers, building capacity in data use, negotiating data-sharing agreements, managing data collection and reporting, and developing a community website. Additionally, the role finalises and implements the Morwell Place-Based Partnership (PBP) evaluation framework in close collaboration with the PBP Project Manager. Requirements: Graduate degree in humanities, social science, social work, psychology, community services or a related field, and extensive relevant experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties required. Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain), and a Victorian Driver Licence.
