Your role as Community Engagement Advisor will have a positive impact in your local community and in turn, the organisation, through aligning activities to the branch business plan and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities. In this dynamic and high-impact role, you’ll make your mark by: Immersing yourself within the local community. You’ll have a mind for networking and collaborations and will work with the board and branch management team to seek out, nurture and organise community relationships, partnerships and events. Telling our stories. Through various channels, you’ll help spread the word and celebrate the work we do within the community. Managing social media and local marketing activation. You will be responsible for creating and posting content and driving engagement through various social media platforms. Being a lifelong learner. This is a permanent part-time position located in Altona. The roster is 30 hours per fortnight, 2 days a week. What you’ll bring to the role: An understanding and established connection with the local community. Strong customer service and customer experience ethos. Ability to drive and maintain effective working relationships and networks. Effective communication skills to share our Community Bank story. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Experience in marketing and managing social media pages. Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Project or event management experience (desirable, but not essential). Confidence with technology and experience in digital platforms and creative/editing tools.
