The City of Karratha is seeking a Community Planning Support Officer to join our dedicated team and help deliver impactful projects that enhance our community’s future. About the Role As a Community Planning Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of community infrastructure projects. From the initial planning stages to the final handover, your support will be instrumental in maintaining efficiency, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in project coordination, feasibility studies, and design planning. Providing essential administrative and procurement support. Managing contracts, preparing reports, and supporting financial monitoring. Coordinating stakeholder engagement and consultation activities. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Previous experience in administration, procurement, or project support. A proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach to work. A current C class driver’s licence and a valid National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
