We are seeking a volunteer with a passion to give back in their community of South West Sydney by visiting an elderly lady living in her own home. Our client enjoys attending charity shops, going for walks and would enjoy a cuppa and a chat. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for 30 minutes to 1 hour visit Monday to Sunday between 9am and 5pm.
