The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person, right here in Hunter NSW. We are seeking a friendly and caring person for social support for a gentleman in Carrington who would enjoy going for a walk or outing, having a cuppa and a chat at a café, or watching the footy. Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
