We are seeking a volunteer with a passion to give back in the community of South West Sydney by visiting an elderly lady living at home in Colo Vale. Our client loves cats and crafts, and would enjoy meeting someone to chat with over a cuppa. Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government, established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements • 18 years or older• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday.
