We are seeking a volunteer with a passion to give back in the community of South West Sydney by visiting an elderly lady living at home in Lurnea. Our client loves telling stories and reminiscing, walking in her garden and would enjoy meeting someone to chat with over a cuppa. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people. Requirements • 18 years or older• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday.
