We have an exciting opportunity for you to join The Lights Community and Sports Centre as our Community Sports and Program Officer until March 2026. This role will create, lead, partner, facilitate and advocate ways that support the community to be active, feel connected and participate in community life. Over the next 12 months The Lights Community and Sports Centre will have a focus on working alongside the local community to build and facilitate diverse and inclusive programs through sport, recreation and general programs that support individual, group and community wellbeing. Key responsibilities of the position include: Drive programs, activities, services, and other opportunities that support Centre’s vision and key objectives for the community. Contribute to a vibrant place where people connect, learn, and participate in activities that improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Provide an outstanding experience for the community, customers, stakeholders, and visitors of the centre. Build lasting and collaborative relationships with Centre stakeholders and the community. The successful applicant will have: A relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience in community sport and recreation, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in working with diverse and inclusive communities to design and develop programs, services, and other activities. This is a Level 4 position which has a current salary range of $94,252 - $101,474 per annum (plus superannuation).
