Community Support Senior Service Analyst Employment type: Full time, Fixed term until February 2027 Remuneration: Band 7 salary from $112,427.64 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO Location: Werribee based with potential for a hybrid work arrangement About the role As Senior Service Analyst , you will support the design and delivery of service use analysis, centralised forecasting, growth, trends, and access planning for services within the Community Support Department. Utilising internal data sets to inform service planning and performance, you will lead the development of data resources, processes, and reports to inform the planning for and delivery of services. A collaborative approach is essential, working with senior staff across the Department to understand their data needs and create tailored responses that add value. Additionally, you will prepare high-level briefing papers for the Council to guide service delivery decisions and provide strategic recommendations on facility requirements to meet demand and industry reforms as it relates to Maternal and Child Health, Family Support, Kindergarten, Youth Services, and Community Connections and Care services. This position is a full-time, fixed-term position for 2 years from commencement. What your day will look like You will design and deliver service use analysis, identifying trends and changes over time to support data-driven decision-making for program improvements and service strategy. Working closely with the Service Planning team, you will update the Community Support Department on long-term forecasts for services, enabling informed resource allocation and decisions regarding service operations. Collaboration is key: you'll work closely with senior staff across the Department to understand their data needs and design solutions that add value. What you will bring Degree or diploma in a business-related discipline with several years’ relevant experience or lesser formal qualification with extensive experience. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and analytics. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to explain data for a range of audiences using a variety of formats. Ability to research and analyse information and prepare concise reports and recommendations for an integrated approach to service planning and delivery. Experience in Local Government or Public Sector environment is desirable.
