Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: 9-day fortnight - Rostered Day Off (RDO) every two weeks Immediate start, permanent role with 15.5% super The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and dynamic individual to join the team at Transgrid as a Community and Stakeholder Coordinator. In your new role, you will provide engagement and communications support to assist in the delivery of stakeholder engagement activities on the HumeLink project. This role will play a major part in helping to ensure community needs are heard and met and Transgrid’s social licence to operate is maintained. Flexibility to travel is a must as you will need to do some occasional travel, and we have the flexibility for the successful candidate to be based at our regional hubs in Wagga, Albury, Yass, or Sydney. As The Community and Stakeholder Coordinator you will: Assist with the development and implementation of communication strategies and action plans in line with Transgrid’s requirements to ensure landowners, community members, and other local stakeholders are engaged at the appropriate level and time. Work closely with the Engagement Lead and Delivery Partners in the implementation of effective community and stakeholder engagement strategies. Assist with meeting and event coordination for forums, briefings, webinars, information sessions, landholder meetings, and workshops, in line with IAP2 standards. Support the set-up and running of a Stakeholder Representative Group and multiple Community Consultative Committees, including processing applications, drafting and sending invites, managing RSVPs, and organizing venue hire and catering. Draft communication content and materials to support engagement and work with suppliers, including graphic designers and printers, to deliver them. Skills & Experience Relevant qualifications or suitable experience in supporting communications, project management, or public relations. Experience planning and coordinating events and meetings. Analytical skills and proven ability to undertake stakeholder or community research to understand and help develop controls and responses. Experience drafting reports, communication materials, briefing notes, or correspondence. Experience assisting with on-ground engagement activities with landowners and community members.
