Your responsibilities will include: The ICT Solution Architect Sr will actively contribute to the objectives of the AIR6500 program by supporting the development and delivery of ICT Infrastructure. Working on the AIR6500 project the ICT Solution Architect Snr will provide services including but not limited to: Contribute to the AIR6500 ICT solution and interfaces in the architectural model to the AIR6500 solution. Support Product Manager and IPTs to establish hardware requirements and sizing for AIR6500 elements. Coordinate the development of Key AIR6500 technical documents and artefacts such as solution description, trade studies and definition of requirements. Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on virtualized & physical server infrastructure, virtual desktop infrastructure. Using their expertise to ensure that efficiencies are captured and implemented through the optimisation and automation of ICT systems deployments and sustainment activities. About you: You will have gained Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Computer Systems Engineering etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry). You will have a current or transferrable NV1 security clearance in addition to the following: Significant experience in the administration, configuration, deployment, management of virtual infrastructure. Significant experience in supporting, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving ICT related technical issues for physical, virtualized environments, applications, varying OS and database systems. Strong willingness to learn and take on challenges in a new domain area. Well developed analysis skills with an ability to develop and evaluate alternatives to determine best value based on customer-driven objectives. Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
