Crown Resorts has a position available for a forward-thinking, innovative and self-motivated Company Secretary Coordinator to join the team in a full-time capacity, based in Crown Melbourne . Reporting to the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary, this is a key role that will see you supporting our Board and Committee members in our Sydney, Melbourne and Perth properties across a wide range of tasks and action items. You’ll also play a large part in the provision and delivery of the secretariat services and support to Crown’s collaborative and supportive Company Secretary team, with a focus on innovating and creating technical solutions and process improvements. This is not a traditional Coordinator role and requires someone to action tasks at a high standard, whilst elevating our current processes and practices. This is a perfect and unique opportunity for a talented EA, Coordinator or Administrator to put their own stamp on things, and shape and re-define how we operate and support the Board Members, Committees and Executive Leadership teams. Due to the nature of this role and our business, you’ll need to be in the office 4 days per week. Some of the key responsibilities will involve: Coordinating and streamlining board & committee meetings including agenda, board packs, scheduling and minutes Assisting with document signing such as circular resolutions, agreements and contracts for the entities Maintain and promote clear lines of communication between key stakeholders Delivering efficient and effective governance processes across the Company’s boards and committees A focus on streamlining, automating, and optimising administrative and operational tasks related to board governance, compliance and reporting Assisting board members and key management with queries and requests from time to time Supporting other high profile projects and initiatives more broadly in the Legal Technology & Operations team (with the potential for the role to expand into this team in future) You’ll have Demonstrated experience in a company secretary environment, or a coordinator role Experience in Power BI preferred but not essential A passion for operational excellence and a team work attitude Strong admin skills, with ability to manage a high volume of work without compromising attention to detail Excellent organisational skills and ability to pursue tasks independently and proactively to completion within required timeframes Professional presentation, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to form strong and genuine internal and external stakeholder relationships Appreciation for confidential matters and discretion, together with high levels of professionalism A proactive, solutions-focussed and flexible work style, with ability to lean into challenges as they arise What we offer you: Full-time opportunity, based in the Crown Melbourne corporate office A chance to elevate your career and be part of a high performing team in a unique and fun industry Complimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant (variety of hot foods, salad + sandwich bar, fruit and sweets) Access to the on-site gym as well as the Crown Staff Club, which offers a range of discounts and benefits Opportunity to take part and be rewarded in Crown’s group-wide recognition and awards program Ability to be an active member and contribute to Crown’s community, diversity & inclusion committees Generous discounts across Crown hotels Australia wide, as well as our restaurants and bars Access to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, health & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology and more Additional Information What you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
