Job Description About the Role An exciting opportunity for a Compliance Engineer to manage and operate our EMC chamber and associated testing equipment to ensure our products meet local and international compliance standards. The role reports to the Compliance Engineering Lead and is based out of our office in Scoresby.Your key accountabilities will include: Maintain and operate the EMC chamber and associated equipment after commissioning, ensuring calibration, functionality, and operational readiness. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chamber use, including test configurations, test execution, and result recording. Perform EMC testing of Clevertronics products using the in-house EMC chamber, ensuring compliance with applicable local and international standards, in particular AS CISPR 15, CISPR 15, EN 55015 and EN IEC 61547. Document and maintain records of in-house and external EMC testing, including technical construction files and compliance reports. Manage compliance projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with project milestones. With Product Compliance Team Leader maintain a library of the relevant standards affecting our products, maintain their current status and advise of relevant changes that could affect these products Assist the team with other internal and external testing activities and requirements, particularly in safety and performance testing of emergency / fixed general purpose lighting products to ensure compliance with standards such as AS/NZS 2293.3, IEC AS/NZS 60598-2-1 and IEC AS 60598-2-22. Stay informed about advancements in EMC testing technologies and industry trends to optimize testing methodologies and processes. Work closely with product development and design teams to address EMC considerations during product design stages Desired Skills and Experience About You The ideal candidate will bring: BEng (Electrical/Electronics) Certifications or training in EMC testing and compliance (preferred). Familiarity with EMC chamber setup, calibration, and operation Hands-on experience with EMC testing equipment and standards Experience with testing for Product Safety requirements Experience in maintaining compliance folders and product test certificates Project Management Logical thinking with excellent problem solving and analytical skills Ability to be responsive and work towards strict deadlines Team player A hands-on approach Why work with the Clevertronics team?
