Job Description

Compliance, Safety & Administration Assistant We are seeking aCompliance, Safety & Administration Assistant to join our client based in their Narellan office, Mccarthur region. In this role, you will work side by side with the CEO and General Manager undertaking compliance for their remote area properties, general administration duties, and assisting with day-to-day head office operational requirements. This role would suit a candidate with strong administration abilities and a sound understanding of workplace compliance and workplace health and safety who enjoys working on multiple tasks across different areas of the organisation. This is a newly created role within the organisation and would suit a candidate who can assist with the setup of general administration procedures & processes as part of the role. This role will require travel to the company's remote hospitality sites based in the Northern Territory, Queensland, and South Australia. Durations of travel vary from days to weeks if required.Key Responsibilities: Offering general in-office administration support to the CEO and General Manager Respond to phone, email, and internet inquiries Assist with travel planning and trip schedules for company employees Work with the CEO & General Manager to identify compliance requirements across the company Assist with workplace health and safety across remote sites based in South Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory Assist with developing and monitoring operational risk registers Ensure regulatory compliance with managers and employees Promote best practices in risk management and contribute to the organisation’s strategic goals Adhere to relevant legal standards, including WHS codes of practice and ISO frameworks Set up and monitor cash management systems across each property Regular travel to the company's remote sites to undertake risk management assessments, audits, and safety reviews Setting up and monitoring risk procedures within the organisation Work with the CEO, General Manager, and site managers to monitor safety training and WorkSafe practices General reporting to the CEO and General Manager About You: The successful candidate will be highly organised with the ability to identify and work on priority tasks. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience or qualifications in a similar role Ability to travel on a semi-regular basis to the company's remote sites Excellent communication and attention to detail Experience or knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 45003 Experience with workplace health and safety and risk management reports Ability to work independently and as part of a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
