Their innovative approach and commitment to quality have positioned them as an industry leader with a strong national presence.About the Role As a Composite Engineer – Business and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in bridging engineering expertise, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with clients, the leadership team, and production staff to drive business growth, optimise manufacturing processes, and champion safety and environmental best practices.Key Responsibilities Customer-Facing: Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, tender negotiations, and project scoping. Engineering & Estimating: Support design and estimating functions, leveraging expertise to provide innovative solutions. Learn from industry leaders and develop into a recognised expert. Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements in manufacturing. Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and contribute to sales strategies that align with business goals. Safety & Compliance: Champion environmental and workplace safety initiatives to ensure best practices and regulatory adherence. About You Degree-qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field). Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes. Customer-focused mindset with experience in tendering, sales, or client engagement. Knowledge of engineering design, estimating, and operational efficiencies. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-driven approach. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. What’s in it for You?
