Rydges Armidale is currently seeking a Conference & Events Executive to lead our team of experienced and enthusiastic team members.Rydges Armidale is Armidale’s only 4.5 star hotel offering stylish accommodation, warm professional service and delicious cuisine at Ottoman Restaurant and The Cellar Bar.We are looking for someone with a big personality that can have fun with, and entertain our guests. The candidate will ideally also have a passion for hotels and hospitality and be hungry for experience that will further their career within the company. About the Role Quoting, contracting and coordinating events from start -to-finish Promoting the venue and working with our brand to best position our property Developing and maintaining client relationships Effectively communicating event details across associated hotel divisions Coordination of BEO meetings Manage and yield events to achieve budgeted targets About You Motivated and passionate about service excellence Attention to detail and possesses the ability to multi-task Exceptionally gifted communicator Able to negotiate and close a sale Event management experience within a hotel or venue is desired Previous experience with Opera - Property Management System and iVvy Event Management system is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
