Rheinmetall Defence Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane Based at MILVEHCOE (Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence) Redbank, our engineering team supports our Vehicle Systems division. You will support configuration management across all our variants for Land 400 Phase 2. This is a rare chance to join a collaborative team of engineers, technical specialists, and analysts. About the Role The Configuration Controller (CC) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing plans, processes, and procedures to ensure that configuration baselines, technical artefacts, and datasets are suitably maintained to meet Rheinmetall Defence Australia projects' availability, safety, quality, cost, schedule, and contract requirements. The CC performs day-to-day CM tasks, including managing data, parts, software, and documents in soft and hardcopy using Company systems and processes. The CC also ensures project-related data is created and maintained within a strong governance and consistent process across the Company. The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Systems Engineering) or related discipline; Extensive experience in Configuration management and Change management; Strong all-round IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite to (advanced) and advanced knowledge of MS Office and PDM systems; Skill in dealing with parts lists and drawings; Team player with good interpersonal skills; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail; Good background understanding of Project Configuration Management and experience in Defence contract configuration management; Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
