Sheltr9 Design+Build is a company that aims to provide quality, well-built high design homes and cabins for the next generation of homeowners and investors through vision, creativity, craftsmanship, innovation, and passion. We focus on adaptive reuse, re-construction of existing housing stock and new construction. Mission: The Construction Documents Specialist is responsible for producing accurate, coordinated, and buildable construction documents using Autodesk Revit. This role ensures that all drawings meet company standards, optimize efficiency, and minimize errors, supporting seamless collaboration between design and construction teams. The specialist will receive a DD (Design Detail) package in AutoCad to use as the foundation for the drawing set. In addition, as a team, the specialist and S9 team members will help build the drawing index and cartoon set in preparation for CD production. Key Outcomes (12 Months) Create company Revit standards, workflows, and drafting processes. Complete initial tasks with oversight within 3-4 projects. Independently produce construction documents for small-scale projects with accuracy and efficiency. Provide 90% complete CD set at first submittal. Independently produce construction documents for medium-large scale projects with accuracy and efficiency. Provide 90% complete CD set at first submittal. Deliver bid/permit-ready drawings with minimal revisions, proactively resolving inconsistencies. Submission ready set is achieved with no more than 2 reviews. Use each project to better establish best practices for Revit use and implement quality control measures to reduce errors and rework. Within 2-3 projects of each type, cabin, residential re-construction, and residential new construction create a usable template. Provide a render ready model for each project.
