Job Description

Talent Focus is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager for our client overseeing numerous project/construction sites in Macquarie Park and Sydney areas.About the Role As the Site Construction Manager, you’ll oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the designated safety Representative and on-site supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating with project teams, managing resources, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Duties include: Supervising daily construction activities, resource allocation, and adherence to project plans and specifications. Overseeing construction processes, conducting inspections, and managing defect rectifications to maintain quality standards. Acting as the primary on-site liaison for clients and contractors, providing regular progress and risk updates to the Project Manager. Tracking expenses, ensuring budget alignment, preparing forecasts, and coordinating material procurement. Developing contingency plans for delays or challenges. Conducting toolbox meetings and ensuring the safe handling of materials and equipment. About you You are a proactive and detail-oriented Site Construction Manager with a proven track record in overseeing complex projects. A natural leader, you excel in coordinating teams, managing resources, and delivering projects to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively balancing multiple priorities while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.You will have: A minimum of 5 years in site management or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. A strong understanding of construction methodologies, WHS regulations, and quality assurance processes. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with interpreting blueprints and specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. A strong capability in resource allocation, budget management, and meeting project milestones. A construction induction white card and a commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
