12 + 12 month contract - April Start $140 - $165 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate / negotiable NV2 Security Clearance Required Manage physical & Information Security for construction projects Domestic and international travel required Our client, a very large Federal Government Organisation responsible for foreign policy, relations & trade, is seeking the experience of a Construction Security Manager (Physical & Cyber) for a 12+12+12 month contract based in Barton, ACT. Duties of the Construction Security Manager (Physical & Cyber) Lead the client's construction security management function on specific projects, including security management planning, coordination, delivery, and capturing lessons learned, ensuring project efforts align with an agreed construction security management plan. Manage security governance, policies, and procedures, and undertake regular auditing. Facilitate security meetings, resolve issues, and report on matters. Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including Government and regulatory authorities. Conduct risk management and recommend effective risk treatments. Oversee construction security operations, review plans, and attend site visits. Create security strategies and implement security procedures. Protect assets, personnel, and information. Skills and Experience Required Experience managing security requirements on a construction site. An understanding of Government Security requirements. Skills in project management, contract, procurement, and financial management. Ability to work effectively as an individual or within a team with minimal supervision. An understanding of and commitment to protective security policies and practices. A thorough understanding of and experience in ensuring compliance with the PSPF.
