Add expected salary to your profile for insights Superior Quarry Testing is a family owned and run independent construction materials testing facility operating in South-East Queensland. ABOUT THE ROLE: We are currently looking for people to assist our specialised team of technicians working across concrete, soils and aggregates. You must be able to start at 7am or earlier and have full availability across Monday - Friday 7am to 5pm. This is a casual position with a minimum of 3-5 hours per shift with the possibility of full-time hours for the right person. An immediate start is on offer and a current driver's license is mandatory. KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Equipment and temperature checks and maintenance Follow instructions and test methods to carry out sample preparation, splitting out, production and/or compliance testing Accurately complete all paperwork General housekeeping and cleaning Sampling and testing of materials using approved test methods KEY ATTRIBUTES: Available Monday to Friday (7am start or earlier) Physically fit and capable of frequent heavy lifting Good Mathematics, Handwriting and English (both written & verbal) is essential and will be tested prior to starting employment. You MUST be able to follow instructions and have good attention to detail Energetic and enthusiastic individual with a good work ethic MUST be well presented with a professional outlook; The ability to pass a medical and/or drug screen if required A current driver's license with a clean driving record.
