Job Description
Senior Consultant - Business Intelligence (BI) Developer We are looking for a Senior Consultant Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with strong coding and data skills to support our team from April to October 2025 . This role is ideal for someone with expertise in SQL, Power BI, and VBA , with additional experience in Python being a plus. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, automating, and optimizing data processes to drive insights and efficiency. Location : Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Build and enhance Power BI dashboards for reporting and visualization. Create, debug, and optimize VBA scripts for process automation and data manipulation. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions. Improve data workflows and automation to enhance efficiency. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all processes. Key Skills & Experience Strong SQL skills , including querying, optimization, and database management. Proficiency in Power BI , including DAX and report development. VBA expertise for automation within Excel and other applications. Python skills (optional but preferred) for advanced data manipulation and scripting. Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and workflow automation is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven experience in data development, analytics, or automation-focused roles . Hands-on experience with SQL databases, Power BI, and VBA scripting . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
