Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS) provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol-related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area. About the role: The purpose of this role is to provide advanced clinical leadership and clinical expertise relevant to the specialty of Adult Mental Health. The Consultation Liaison Officer (CNC/HP4) will engage in comprehensive consumer-focused mental health consultation, assessment, intervention, and training to ensure seamless care for consumers transitioning between mental health services, the general hospital, specialized mental health inpatient or community care units, non-government and government services, General Practitioners and other private practitioners and youth residential facilities.
