As one of South Australia’s largest providers of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine services, our practice provides care to almost 30% of the population across Adelaide’s southern region. Onsite car parking available. Responsibilities The Consultant will provide a full clinical service to private and Medicare-eligible patients. The successful applicant will facilitate and manage the care of all patients requiring the services of the Southern Sleep specialist practice and across the public and private hospital services where required. Providing appropriate specialist level care to patients. Coordinating the follow-up care of patients. Contributing to an after-hours on-call service in accordance with a roster agreed with peers. Assisting the managers, administrative and technician team members with the planning and delivery of clinical services to patients. Fostering the development of community networks approach to Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. Requirements FRACP qualification in respiratory, sleep or general medicine. Eligible for Medicare billing. Salary and Benefits Practicing independently as a consultant physician with highly competitive remuneration billing split: 65% of the gross Medicare and private medical claims generated.
