In this job, you will provide clinical leadership, advice, consultation, liaison, and support to internal and external stakeholders, other providers and agencies, patients, their families, and their carers throughout the region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working within a MDT you will lead the provision of care to child and adolescent patients. Acting as senior liaison to colleagues in other specialties, NGOs, GPs, other providers, hospitals, etc. Participating in quality and safety improvement projects. Education and mentoring doctors in training as well as students. Selection criteria FRANZCP or equivalent specialist training completed in UK (UK training satisfies the new expedited specialist pathway, with criteria conditions), Ireland, USA, Canada, or South Africa. An interest or experience in providing psychiatric care in a regional or rural context. Significant experience in general adult psychiatric settings. Commitment to working within a MDT framework. Commitment to continuing your professional development education. Experience in telehealth/video conferencing & excellent IT skills. Willingness to undertake outreach activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
