Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-wide strategic planning. Perform elective and emergency general surgery. Conduct outpatient clinics and manage pre/post-operative care. Participate in the on-call roster as part of a dedicated surgical team. Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and strategic development. Essential Criteria: Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) or equivalent international qualification. Proven experience in managing a wide range of general surgical procedures. Commitment to teaching, training, and mentoring junior medical staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in elective and emergency general surgery. Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to manage complex surgical cases.
