Job Purpose The focus of this role is to provide administrative support for the BritBox Australia content team, responsible for acquisitions invoicing as well as ongoing materials tracking and facilitating content publishing to the service. This role would suit a candidate who has experience in an acquisitions, programming or content operations role within a media organisation. This role is based from the BBCS offices in North Sydney or working from home as required. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Maintain content and acquisitions documents, updating and following up tasks due. Generate all purchase orders and ensure all invoices processed in a timely manner. Ensure monthly and end of year reconciliation with Finance. Maintain accurate forward plan documents to communicate monthly schedules to wider business. Support operational content readiness, tracking availability of materials, metadata, images and all assets in time for content release date. Editorial checks and localisation of program metadata, proofreading on-platform copy and listings to ensure accuracy. Merchandise all new content releases on platform. Support Content & Editorial Manager in execution of content plans. Support the content team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed across Acquisitions and Editorial. Capabilities Highly organised with the ability to prioritise. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Exceptional eye for detail. Self-organised, enjoys working with diverse and global teams. A love of TV and knowledge of British TV in particular. Programming, Acquisitions or Operations experience in a media organisation an advantage. Collaboration with colleagues in New York and London will require some flexibility to work outside of normal Australian business hours. Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: Exceptional organisation and administration skills, with strong attention to detail. An ability to manage a varied workload, juggling several tasks at any one time, maintaining relationships with local and global stakeholders. Previous experience using a suite of business tools such as Microsoft, Google, AirTable, SAP preferred.
