About the team Our Coles Liquor team work across three leading brands (Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. About the role You will work closely with cross functional teams (e.g., operations, commercial) and support the Supply Chain Manager Centre of Excellence to analyse business process, recognise opportunities and implement improvement changes as part of the project management office. You will also play a key role in the reporting of Supply Chain strategy to Supply Chain leadership team on regular basis. Please note this will be a 6-month secondment. You’ll also: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction across end-to-end supply chain Plan, facilitate and execute continuous improvement projects Work with IT team to lead and define business requirements enabling process efficiency Regularly monitor the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits Provide training to teams on changes such as business process, new reports among others Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders to co-ordinate supply chain strategy updates and report to supply chain leadership team About you and your skills We’re after a highly skilled Supply Chain professional who is passionate about continuous improvement, is not satisfied with status quo or with process complacency. You’ll also need: Project Management and Continuous Improvement experience Advanced analytical, problem-solving skills and proven attention to detail Experience in dealing with large datasets to develop/re-engineer processes (ability to write SQL scripts will be an advantage) Solid understanding of end-to-end retail processes and cost drivers Demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced, highly complex analytical environment (experience in retail preferred) Strong communication skills, catering for a variety of stakeholder levels What’s in it for you?
