Continuous Improvement and Accreditation Coordinator (Nursing) About the role A new opportunity has come available for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Governance Team as our Continuous Improvement and Accreditation Coordinator. This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and attracts a remuneration of $120,000 gross base PA, plus salary packaging benefits. This important role will see you accountable for the delivery of continuous improvements within the clinical operations of ARRCS aged care facilities and home care services. In addition, you will support, coordinate and oversee the accreditation for these services. As the successful candidate, you will bring to the organisation a strong background as a Registered Nurse and continue to hold an unrestricted AHPRA registration. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within Aged, Disability or Acute care and have worked within a mentor, leadership or management capacity. Importantly, you will bring with you an understanding of the theories that align quality improvement and have direct experience working with clinical accreditation. Skills & experience To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications: Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification. Full working rights to work in Australia – This package is not offered on a sponsorship basis. Minimum of three (3) years’ post-registration clinical experience in an aged or acute care position with relevant qualifications in quality and safety or willingness to undertake further professional development. Proven record of achievement, experience, and leadership at an organisational level particularly in areas of accreditation, continuous improvement and partnering with consumers. An understanding of the theories that underpin quality improvement, consumer safety and practice including contemporary human error theory. Proven system-wide view of clinical governance processes with capacity to take initiative and make system changes to improve health outcomes. Prior experience working within a leadership or mentoring capacity. Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team. Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills. Ability to meet and obtain mandatory compliance requirements as stated below.
