Who we are The Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG), on the lower slopes of Black Mountain in Canberra, hosts the nation’s largest living collection of Australian native plants. The ANBG hosts over 550,000 visitors a year, the Gardens features over 4,000 species representing one-fifth of Australia’s known native plants with over 78,000 plants growing on site. It is the only place in the world you can see this diversity of Australian flora in one location. The living collection is an important scientific resource. The Job Provide contract and financial services support for the Science and ANBG Branch including: Managing service contracts such as pay parking, cleaning, utilities (water, electricity, gas), fleet management including undertaking tender processes as required. Managing donation programs and processing lease payments from commercial operators. Undertaking a range of procurement activities. Assisting with budget development/management, forecasting and revenue management including monthly financial reporting. Preparation of journals and end of month processing including end of month accrual pack. Providing a full range of accounts receivable services including banking and revenue reporting. Developing and streamlining business management systems and processes in liaison with the Branch Business Manager and the Parks Australia Finance team.
