Position Overview: The Contracts and Tenders Specialist ANZ is a pivotal role within Convatec’s commercial operations, responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle. Reporting to the Commercial Manager ANZ, this role ensures timely execution, compliance, and effective administration of contracts across all business categories. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams—marketing, sales, business management, and technical teams—to develop pre-sales strategies, structure proposals, and negotiate product and service contracts with external customers. Key Responsibilities Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including sales, distribution, and supplier agreements. Maintain a contract repository, tracking milestones, renewals, and obligations to ensure compliance. Facilitate contract renewals, amendments, and execution in collaboration with internal departments. Manage end-to-end tender and RFP processes, ensuring timely and compliant submissions. Analyze tender and RFP documentation, summarizing key terms for internal stakeholders and coordinating necessary materials. Monitor contract performance and compliance, conducting reviews to ensure metrics are met. Provide reporting and analysis on contracts, highlighting risks, compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement. Support audits and recommend improvements for competitive and effective contract management strategies. Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in contracts management within the medical device or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards in the healthcare sector. Proven track record in managing complex contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant contract management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Our ambitions will bring the very best out in you.
