Working within our Legal & Commercial Team, you will be supporting Ampcontrol’s Group of Companies, by reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and being involved in a range of general legal and commercial advisory matters. This role will also provide support to Ampcontrol’s international offices. Specifically, the role will involve: Negotiation, review and drafting of a variety of contracts and tenders Ongoing review of commercial terms and conditions of tender and contract documents Project support work Development of ongoing relationships with internal and external customers for the management of key business relationships Undertaking research and information collection and preparing reports or advice concerning legislative compliance and changes, legislative interpretation and intellectual property protection Assisting with other commercial matters as required, including acquisitions, litigation, insurance claims and other legal matters. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: You could be an experienced contracts lawyer or legal professional looking to enjoy better work / life balance and a friendly team; or you may be a recent graduate with one to two years undergraduate / post-graduate experience. The focus is on finding a team member who has the maturity, determination, and commitment to undertaking a new role in a dynamic organisation. You will also have: Degree level qualification in law Experience in dealing with contracts / contract management Proven negotiation skills in analysis of commercial issues and sound commercial acumen Demonstrated ability to influence successful outcomes Competent in Microsoft Office applications It is essential that the successful candidate confidently demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
