We do this through building upon our strong risk foundations, proactive and strategic risk management, and control automation to drive market-leading customer and business outcomes. Do work that matters This role will support the BB CCO Controls Excellence Team to increase the strength and efficiency of BB’s control environment through control automation and continuous monitoring. Let’s work smarter. As trusted partners of Business Banking, we will collaboratively find innovative solutions to drive the most efficient controls environment across BB. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for executing control testing activities in line with the automated controls assurance framework for BB, and you will assist the BB Line 1 Risk teams in embedding effective controls by providing robust feedback where required and recommending appropriate enhancements.Other responsibilities include: Data quality in various databases (including RiskInSite) and monthly management reporting. Support BB by providing a comprehensive and integrated risk service, enabling BB to meet its business outcomes. Identify, lead, and manage continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights, recommendations, and support implementation of new initiatives. Support BB in optimizing their assurance activities through automated assurance and tooling platforms. We’re interested in hearing from people who have: Experience in Operational Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks including Control design experience. Ability to analyze/identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions. Influencing and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in testing or auditing Automated/Semi-Automated Business Process Controls or IT controls with strong knowledge in areas such as Software development, Application controls, and Identity and access management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think critically and analytically and use data-driven insights to solve problems. BU-specific – business commercial aptitude and knowledge.
