About The Opportunity Securecorp is excited to announce a great opportunity for Control Room Operators to join our team of professionals on a Full Time basis. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of security and safety to the assigned site, its tenants and/or visitors by undertaking control room duties and incident management. In addition, you will be monitoring surveillance footage, compiling reports and coordinating an effective security presence, complemented by exemplary customer service to ensure compliance with site requirements. We have vacancies across Parkville and Broadmeadows. Responsibilities: Monitor, operate and review CCTV system. Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders. Maintain and write accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities, and visitor logs. Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures. Operate a two-way radio communication network for security personnel and manage the deployment of security personnel. Access control to personnel, employees, and visitors. Participate in ongoing training programs and exercises. Key Selection Criteria: We’re looking for candidates who: Have strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette. Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels. Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint. Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Valid Driver’s licence with transport. Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.
