Overview: Full-time , Continuing position Salary HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University About The Position The Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, plays a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and governance of projects for the Centre for Education Innovation and Quality (CEIQ). This role involves facilitating the setup and ongoing delivery of projects within a broader project and operations team, providing essential project management support across various phases. As an Operations Coordinator, you will assist in developing and managing project materials, while contributing to all aspects of project execution to ensure that outcomes are met. You will be responsible for organizing and aligning project deliverables, managing interdependencies, and ensuring that project schedules and milestone reports are maintained accurately. Additionally, you will support the assessment of project progress, documenting key stages, tracking risks and issues, and reporting updates to stakeholders and leadership. This role also includes supporting the identification and analysis of emerging risks and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies under the guidance of senior team members. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Demonstrated knowledge and experience of project work in a complex education setting. Demonstrated high-level writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, synthesize broad data and analyze at a detailed level to provide a general understanding. Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage projects according to designed project plans and timelines.
