We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Training Coordinator to join the ESS team within our fantastic Academy facility at the Perth head office. You will be part of the team that ensures that our new recruits are trained and ready to be mobilised to site. THE POSITION Lead, coach, develop and coordinate a team of training facilitators and ensure high standards of performance and compliance. Ensure that all tasks associated with operations and training are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety Regulations and are in line with Compass Group Australia’s policies and procedures. Provide individual evaluations of facilitators and new starters, giving comprehensive training performance outcomes to management and sites. Promotion of Academy training to clients and internal stakeholders, being the point of contact for catering events or functions while also implementing an operational plan for our internal stakeholders for such events. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships within Head Office and identify opportunities for process improvement between recruitment, operations, and safety teams. Perform other duties within their capabilities as required by Academy Manager and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management. Manage the training operations, ensuring facilities and equipment are kept to a high standard. Training schedules are maintained weekly, communicated to all facilitators to ensure a smooth and consistent workflow. Monitor team performance and prepare regular reviews and sector reporting as required.
