About the Role The Illawarra Grammar School has a comprehensive outdoor education program, including school camps and high student participation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Our School is in the top 100 schools for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award program in Australia, with an average of 80% of participants achieving their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Every year, our School runs multiple Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions. The Coordinator of Outdoor Education would report to our Director of Cocurricula and oversee the School’s outdoor education program, including: Book, plan and attend the year group camps throughout the year and oversee all camp activities alongside the camp provider Oversee all aspects of the Duke of Edinburgh Award program and attend all expeditions Take responsibility of the Outdoor Education budget and equipment The position would commence Term 2 2025.
