Corporate Communications Lead (PR) - 12 Month Contract Working for a leading tech company, in one of their entertainment arms, this is an exciting and critical opportunity to lead corporate communications and PR across the APAC region, with a main focus on the Australian market. This is a 12-month contract, with the potential for ongoing work, so will suit someone with local experience, media connections and full work rights. Your new role Providing corporate communications and brand support for the region, assisting APAC in times of crisis. Collaborate with various teams across the wider business to ensure cohesive external messaging and identify storytelling opportunities. Work closely with external PR agency. Handle reactive and proactive opportunities and develop relationships with key media relationships. Provide media training, influence thought leadership and help roll out global messaging initiatives. What you'll need to succeed Solid senior level experience in external communications/PR/corporate affairs covering both agency and in-house roles. Proven ability to handle media and a strong network of industry contacts. A creative mind who is able to come up with stories and connect the dots across a matrix organisation. Experience in a global team, or working across an APAC region to understand dynamics will be highly regarded. Experience in either the entertainment or technology industries will be highly regarded (if not, a mixture of consumer experience is important).
