Role Overview As Corporate Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading corporate development projects and driving growth opportunities for Brighte. Corporate development initiatives will span across fundraising, M&A, investor relations, new product lines, and market expansion activities to identify overall opportunities for the business. Key focus areas: Special Projects and Commercial Activities Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Finance & Data on special projects and new product research. Explore new target markets and lead project execution. Analyse markets, costs, and pricing and present findings to top management and investors. Corporate Development and Strategy Assist the CEO with funding needs, supporting fundraising and investor communication. Research market trends and guide strategy and develop long-term commercial plans. Prepare reports and presentations. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Identify M&A opportunities and build business cases and manage strategic transactions and due diligence. Create analytical models and research for transactions. Handle transaction project management. Prepare materials for management, board, and investors. Investor Relations Manage shareholder relationships. Prepare investor relations materials and updates. Handle cap table and investor inquiries. What You’ll Bring A tertiary degree/post-grad qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance/Economics/Mathematics, Econometrics). Sound experience in an investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy role, with strong transaction and/or capital raising experience or prior experience at a start-up or corporate where they’ve been involved in an equity/capital raise. Outstanding communication skills, with regard to having a diverse set of stakeholders - both internal and external. Project management experience, specifically, execution/delivery of corporate transactions. Financial modelling experience and understanding of financial statements. You are self-motivated, driven, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are adept at thinking analytically, with a high attention to detail and ability to drive results in individuals/teams. What's in it for you?
