1 - CORPORATE SENIOR ASSOCIATE FIRM: This is a rare opportunity to join a leading top-tier law firm’s Corporate M&A team, working closely with 2 highly regarded partners. WORK: You’ll dive into a variety of exciting areas, including: Takeovers, public and private mergers, and acquisitions; equity capital markets transactions (ECM); consortiums; complex FIRB approvals; foreign investment law; strategic fund investments in clean energy; initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues, and share placements; corporate governance and advising on the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act. CANDIDATE: To be successful in securing an interview for this role, you will have 3+ years at a top-tier firm in a Corporate M&A team. You'll also have strong academic results (GPA above 5.5). Lawyers returning from overseas with experience in other Commonwealth jurisdictions are also encouraged to apply.
