Corporate Records & Information Governance Coordinator Job ID: J0225-1219 (Please quote job ID on resume when applying) Department: Legal & Legislative Services Job Description: The City of Abbotsford’s Legal and Legislative Services Department is seeking an experienced and self-motivated professional to join their dynamic team as a Corporate Records & Information Governance Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee the management, organization, and governance of corporate records and information. Your attention to detail and expertise in records management will help you to develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems for effective information governance. You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and provide training and support to staff on records management practices.As the Corporate Records & Information Governance Coordinator, you will manage and organize corporate records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide training to staff. You will handle records inquiries, coordinate the transfer and destruction of records, and support the transition to electronic documents. Additionally, you will assist with archival projects, oversee students, and conduct compliance audits. Educational Requirements: • Degree in Business Administration, Records and Information Management, Library or Archival Science, or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.• Minimum of two years’ related work experience, including experience with databases, filing/retrieval systems, and electronic records or content management systems. Salary: This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $31.39 to $36.92.
