About us We are a well-respected boutique Melbourne law firm that practices exclusively in corporate and commercial law. Founded in 2009, we have an established and growing client base across a diverse range of industries including mining exploration, healthcare and biotech, software, finance and managed investments. Our clients include ASX listed public companies, unlisted public companies and privately held companies. We undertake varied and challenging corporate and commercial work for clients at all stages of development, with a focus on fundraising activities, mergers and acquisitions, ASX and Corporations Act compliance, corporate governance, due diligence investigations and business sales and acquisitions. We also provide general corporate and commercial legal services including reviews of commercial contracts, corporate structuring and restructuring and the establishment of farm-in and joint venture arrangements. About the role We are looking for an early career lawyer to join our established team and work with a broad spectrum of clients on a diverse range of work. The role will involve working collaboratively with, and being mentored by senior staff, as well as the opportunity for direct interactions with our clients and the regulators. About You You are a qualified lawyer based in Melbourne seeking to gain exposure and experience in a boutique firm where you can develop your corporate and commercial legal skills under the guidance of highly experienced lawyers with expertise in the field. You are admitted to practice as a legal practitioner in Victoria and ideally you have two years or less post-admission experience. Success in this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, critical analysis of complex situations, personal drive and initiative, the ability to balance multiple priorities meeting deadlines within a team environment.
