Job details Position status: Fixed Term Temporary Position type: Full-time Occupational group: Administration Classification: AO4 Workplace Location: Herston Job ad reference: QLD/QPHSS/615809 Closing date: 04-Feb-2025 Job duration: Fixed term temporary full time until 30 June 2025 The key purpose of the role is to provide the correspondence, administrative and business needs of the Branch. Business Support Officers also assist Management in ensuring correct processes are followed that comply with policy and legislation. Business Support Officers provide a quality assurance that assists the Manager's decision making. The successful person You will have demonstrated: Proven experience, skills and knowledge of departmental correspondence, budgetary and human resource processes and reporting requirements and the ability to extract, collate and interpret information and to prepare and present statistical and financial reports using the data. Ability to resolve problems and work autonomously to achieve organisational goals. Highly developed interpersonal, consultation and other communication skills, particularly tact, discretion, sensitivity, confidentiality and an ability to communicate and work with senior management and staff. Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health & safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination with the ability to provide leadership, direction and advice within the team environment.
