MARS Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a leading Australian law firm in their search for a Credit Supervisor. This role will oversee a small credit team and report directly to the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have experience managing credit functions within a professional services environment, with a strong focus on billing, collections, and financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team within a reputable law firm. Duties and Key Responsibilities: Oversee credit risk management, including invoice reversals, unbillable WIP, and uncollectable debt, to minimize financial exposure. Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments and promptly resolve any credit control queries or disputes. Partner with the senior leadership team to identify and implement strategies to enhance cash flow efficiency. Address and resolve client inquiries regarding the financial aspects of their matters in a timely and professional manner. Regularly review unbilled disbursement balances and proactively drive the billing process. Handle ad-hoc work requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely support and resolution. Skills and Experience: 5-10 years' experience in Credit Control. Open to candidates from professional services sectors like Law, Engineering, and Accounting, particularly those that bill by the hour.
